There’s something about this last supermoon of the year that already feels like an intense and deeply attuned message. I woke up today with that pressure-in-the-air feeling, like Spirit’s about to sit us down and say, “Alright… you ready to do this shit for real?”
The Cold Moon always brings a certain level of honesty, but a supermoon at the end of a 9-year cycle, closing out a Wood Snake year, right before we slide into a Fire Horse year? Yeah… this is different. If you’ve been feeling things shifting… clarity, peace, irritation, detachment, nostalgia, or just that sense that something in you is rearranging itself, this moon and the collective energy that’s activated right now is the reason.
It’s not dramatic energy, not chaotic.. just supercharged. It’s clarity. It’s that deep knowing that lands in your chest and won’t un-land until you acknowledge what it’s saying. This moon feels like the moment when all the noise dissolves and the truth finally gets a microphone. Where all of the shedding we’ve done this year comes full circle for one final goodbye.
The Cold Moon has always been a mirror, but this one is a closing ceremony for us individually as well as the entire collective. Snake energy doesn’t slam doors.. it just sheds quietly. If your spirit has already let go of something, this moon is going to help your mind and body catch up. If you’ve outgrown a storyline, this moon is going to show you exactly where the loose ends are. And if you’ve been asking for a sign about whether to keep carrying something.. trust me baby, you’ll have your answer by tonight!
We’re stepping into Fire Horse energy in 2026, and Fire Horse does not negotiate with anything that slows your soul down. It doesn’t let you drag your old wounds, old habits, old relationships, or old versions of yourself into the next chapter. It’s fast. It’s catalytic. It’s “choose your direction and move.” And that’s why this Cold Moon feels like an emotional checkpoint. A cleansing. A sorting. A preparation for expansion.
This isn’t about perfection. It’s not about fixing your whole life in an afternoon. It’s about being honest with self about the shit that can’t go with you from here. And since tonight is the night (the final, and most intense supermoon of the year), we’re meeting for in-person Moon Circle at 6PM on the NE side of Lake Hefner. Yes, it’s going to be cold as hell. Trust me, I don’t like cold either.. but this is a moment for the books. So bundle up: blankets, gloves, beanies, layers on layers. Bring a coffee mug or a tea mug. We’ll have warm tea at the ready, as well as a nice fire to gather around. We’ll do our usual grounding, release, intention setting, and visualization work… but we’re also doing something special to close out this 9 year and seal this cycle properly.
This is one of those nights where the energy is too potent to sit inside and scroll through it. Come sit with us. Come breathe with us. Come let this moon mark the end of what needs to end and the beginning of what’s actually aligned.
